Natalia Camba

Natalia is currently the Director of Local Content at National Petroleum Institute upstream Regulator of Oil and Gas activities, previously she was the Director of Supervision and Safety. She is a Chemical Engineer and holds a Master Degree in Project Management of Oil&Gas Industries with specialization in Economics of Oil, Gas and Energy.

She was involved in elaboration of documents related with Gas Development in Mozambique, such Gas Master Plan, Strategy for the Development of Local Market, HSE Regulation etc.

She has experience in LNG Project, where she was involved in different roles such as Engineering Technical Assistant also follow-up communications Liaison with Government Regulatory groups within Mozambique. She acted after as Advisory of Environmental Impact Assessment team in the Mozambique LNG Project , leading  with issues associated with EIA and Resettlement Action Plan, and guide the team with information necessary to meet the Mozambique Government and local communities’ needs.

Currently, Natalia is involved in setting up strategies and Policies related with Local Content Development in Mozambique and she is member of Local Content Task Force, an interministerial Group that coordinates Local Content implementation in Mozambique.

Natalia is also a lecture of Petroleum Geopolitics& Ethics in the Oil &Gas Business MBA at ISCTEM (Higher Institute)

Jos Evens

Jos Evens has spent more than 30 years with ExxonMobil.  He joined ExxonMobil Mocambique Limitada as Production Manager and Mozambique Lead Country Manager in August 2017. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Gas & Power Marketing, for ExxonMobil Qatar Limited. Mr. Evens studied Commercial Engineering and Engineer Enterprise Information Systems at the University of Leuven in Belgium.

Mr. Evens began his career with Exxon in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1984. Since that time, he has undertaken a range of operational, supervisory and managerial assignments for Exxon and subsequently ExxonMobil. He has served in various capacities in operations, customer service, business development, and planning functions within Fuels Marketing and Gas Marketing while working in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East.

Lourenço Sambo

Director General of the Investment & Export Promotion Agency (APIEX – Mozambique), since June 2017. Before that he was Director General of the Investment Promotion Centre – CPI, from July 2010 to June 2017 and Economic Adviser to the Minister of Planning and Development of the Republic of Mozambique from June 2006 to July 2010.
Graduated from Eduardo Mondlane University in economics, he holds a Master’s Degree in Agriculture Business Management.
Among many studies, he conducted a study sponsored by the Friederich Ebert Foundation on the social and macro economic impact of deeper SADC regional integration in Mozambique as well a survey on the perception of the national business community and non-state actors as a complement to the study, published in South Africa by SAIA from WITS University namely the “REGIONAL INTEGRATION IN SOUTHERN AFRICA”, Vol 2, on Deepening Integration in SADC – Rapid Changes in Mozambique to Meet SADC Targets.
He also participated in the study on the reengineering of CPI in 1996 which culminated in the drafting of CPI’s first Strategic (1997-2000) as well as in the formulation of several proposals of studies and interventions crucial for the development of business and of the entrepreneurial sector in Mozambique requested by different public entities.

Victor Tivane

Víctor B.L.Tivane  is a Mozambican investment and business development consultant with more than 15 years experience in promoting investment and developing SMEs (Matching Grant Schemes, Linkages and Industrial Parks).

Currently is the Director at National Hydrocarbon Corporation at the Local Content Division. As the Director of this Division, the main role is to lead and coordinate the company policy operationalization regarding the local industry promotion and development, employment creation and acceleration of skill and technology transfer.

The last position was a Consultant at the World Bank Competitiveness and Private Sector Development Project for Mozambique (PACDE).

Víctor Tivane has worked at the Investment Promotion Centre, in the preparation and implementation of Industrial Parks in Mozambique and advisor for foreign and domestic firms, in matters of investment; as adviser during the implementation of Aluminium Smelter (MOZAL); and as the Manager of the Linkages Program Office at the World Bank Enterprise Development Project using tools such as Matching Grant Schemes and Supplier Development Program.

Claire Mateus Zimba

Claire Mateus Filipe Correia Zimba was born in Maputo, 1976. Dr. Claire Zimba holds a Post Graduate Degree in Corporate Governance and Oil and Gas at the Instituto Superior de Ciência e Tecnologias de Moçambique and a Degree in Law at the Eduardo Mondlane University. In the year 2007 to the year 2010, Dr. Claire Zimba was the National Director of Made in Mozambique Brand Unit; 2010 – 2011 the National Director of Private Sector Support Unit. 2011 – 2012 he was the Advisor of the Minister and in the year 2012 till present, Dr. Claire Zimba is the Executive Director of IPEME.

H.E. Júlio Parruque

Dr. Omar Mithá

Omar Mithá was born in Mozambique in 1967, he holds degree in Economics from Eduardo Mondlane University (1992, Mozambique) and Post-Graduate Degree in Management from ISCTE (2005, Portugal).

He  holds the position of CEO/Chairman of ENH, the NOC from the Republic of Mozambique, since August 2015. He is also Chairman of ENH Logistics and Non-Executive Board Member of Matola Gas Company (MGC) and Portos de Cabo Delgado (PCD). Until August 2015 was the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. Before joining the Government, from 2008 to 2013 he was the former Chief-Economist and in charge of the Investment Banking of Millennium BIM dealing with credit for large projects, advisory, project finance and research. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2007 was an Investment Officer at the IFC office in Maputo. Between 2000 and 2005 he was working as a consultant to the World Bank on behalf of International Development Ireland to develop SME´s through a matching grant scheme for technology transfer. Previously he worked for Ernst & Young as a consultant, and was the Manager and Advisor of several companies between 1992 and 1996. He has been a lecturer at the local university for a couple of years.

Martin Hutchison

Martin Hutchison is an independent consultant supplying strategic support to the global energy industry. He has over 40 years of international oil and gas industry leadership experience in technical, commercial and senior executive roles, encompassing Upstream and LNG across Europe, North and South America, Middle East and West Africa. He served on the boards of the Venezuelan American Chamber of Commerce and the Ameriven heavy oil project, and later as the Managing Director and executive board member for Brass LNG Ltd, Nigeria. Martin is a lecturer in several CWC professional development courses and a regular chairman and Co-Chairman of CWC conferences.

Anicha Abdul

Anicha Abdul, is a co-founder and Managing Director of EP Management Consultancy Services. She has exceptional expertise in HR solutions for specialized industries such as in Oil and Gas, Mining and FMCG. She has spearheaded the placement over hundreds of employees, locals and expatriates in mega projects in Mozambique over the past 10 years.  She has extensive skills in conflict management, immigration, and contracting and human capital management. Anicha is a certified Leadership Coach and Trainer through John Maxwell Team. An organization focused on raising effectiveness of world leaders. Prior to joining the entrepreneur world, Anicha worked in a Mining Company and an International Tax Firm. She is the founder of a group of companies NEESH, which comprises of supply of specialized work wear ensuring that health and safety standards are met, Accounting and Tax consulting. She recently initiated the development of a social economic women empowerment project with the objective to get more women businesses involved in the mega projects.  Anicha is passionate and actively involved in the empowerment of women in business in Mozambique.

Charles Nyirahuku

Mr. Charles NYIRAHUKU has over 16 years’ strategic and operational experience in the petroleum sector across the East African region and beyond, especially in policy formulation, natural gas exploration and production and business transactions. Charles is currently working with the African Natural Resources Center, a non-lending entity of the African Development Bank as the Chief Gas Regulatory Officer. He focusses on supporting emerging gas producers in Africa to enhance the regulatory environment in the natural gas sector and build capacity for better resource planning and management. Prior to joining the Africa Development Bank, as a the Head of Petroleum and Gas Unit  at the Rwandan Ministry of Energy, he coordinated the development process and monetization of the unique Lake Kivu Gas resource and pioneered the petroleum exploration program in Rwanda. He is a holder of a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Trinidad and Tobago and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lubumbashi, in Democratic Republic of Congo.
